1.Which building typology are you researching? - The building typology i chose is a religious institution and community center.

 2. Why are you researching this building? - I'm researching this building typology because its something i have never designed and would relish the challenge of designing it.

3. What is the specialty of the building type you would like to research? I would like to research Hindu temples specifically and community centers geared to the Hindu community.

5. What are your goals for working with this building types? My goals for working with this building type would be to research as much as possible about the Hindu culture, and their architecture in order to have the necessary tools to design a contemporary temple and community center that is exciting.


6. What are the program elements that you see included at this point in your building? Although they may be premature and will require later changes, the elements in my program will be- temple (area for worship), a general meeting area (for community gathering), an interior courtyard, and a restaurant that specializes in Hindu cuisine.
